Workshop Overview

This free workshop introduces participants to the science and practice of sound healing for pain management, featuring Meta Ye’s pioneering integration of Full Moon Singing Bowls, the seven-chakra system, and Traditional Chinese Medicine meridian theory. Attendees will experience live demonstrations, learn practical techniques, and discover how sound can support both physical and emotional pain relief.

1. Welcome & Introduction 

• Meet Sissy Huls: Certified Sound Therapist, founder, and innovator in sound healing
• Overview of credentials and unique approach (integration of chakras, meridians, and Full Moon Bowls)

2. The Science of Sound Healing for Pain 

• Brief explanation of how sound frequencies interact with the body’s energy systems and nervous system
• Clinical and empirical evidence:
  • Singing bowls and soothing music can calm pulse, heartbeat, and breathing, lower blood pressure, improve immunity, and enhance the body’s stress response
  • Research supports sound healing as a non-pharmacologic solution for pain management
• How sound activates acupuncture points and meridians for pain relief

3. Demonstration: Full Moon Singing Bowls in Pain Management

• Live demonstration of using two sets of bowls (7 chakras, 12 meridians) to activate 361 acupuncture points
• Guided group sound bath: participants experience the calming and balancing effects firsthand
• Optional: invite participants to share their sensations or experiences

4. Practical Techniques for Daily Pain Relief 

• Breathing and mindful listening exercises to amplify pain relief (inspired by mindfulness-based approaches shown to modulate pain
