A Sacred Lineage: The Maestro Santa Ratna Shakya

At the very heart of Meta Ye Sound Wellness Center lies a sacred lineage passed down through generations from the ancient Kingdom of Nepal. Our founder, Sissy Ye, is a direct disciple of the world-renowned Singing Bowl Maestro, Santa Ratna Shakya.

Hailing from a family of traditional metal artisans and musicians in the ancient Newari city of Patan, Maestro Shakya is the key bearer of a cultural heritage with 265 years of inheritance. His life’s work is a harmonious blend of profound tradition and pioneering innovation.

The Invention of the Full Moon Bowl

Maestro Shakya is most notably known for his invention of the Kasa Full Moon Singing Bowl. This deeply spiritual instrument is meticulously forged from a seven-metal alloy under the luminous glow of a clear full moon. This ceremonial practice imbues each bowl with a rare, potent purity. Maestro Shakya continues to innovate, creating new and specialized therapeutic bowls, including the “Sunya Stupa Bowl,” the “New Moon Bowl,” and the “Nirvana Bowl.”

Upholding the Legacy

A globally recognized authority, Maestro Shakya has traveled the world teaching the sacred art of sound healing. His work has been featured in books, scholarly theses, and has contributed to eight best-selling meditative albums.
As a direct disciple of this living master, our founder Sissy Ye carries forward not only his profound teachings but also his unwavering dedication to the integrity and authenticity of sound. By upholding his legacy, Meta Ye ensures that every session offers a direct connection to a source of unparalleled wisdom and transformative power, elevating your healing journey.
