A direct lineage that continues to shape the philosophy and integrity of Meta Ye.
One of the most significant influences on this work has been the opportunity to study directly under Master Santa Ratna Shakya.
Internationally recognized as the Father of the Full Moon Singing Bowl, Master Santa is the heir to a 265-year Newari lineage dedicated to the preservation and evolution of sacred sound traditions and traditional metalcraft from Nepal.
As a direct disciple, Sissy Ye received training in the traditional use, philosophy, and cultural foundations of authentic Kasa Full Moon Singing Bowls.
This lineage provided not only technical instruction, but also a deeper understanding of the history, craftsmanship, and wisdom that support these instruments.
Today, this lineage remains a foundational influence on Meta Ye’s commitment to authenticity, integrity, and respect for tradition.
