One of the defining characteristics of the Full Moon Singing Bowl is the way it is created.
Each bowl is handcrafted only during clear full moon nights. If weather conditions prevent the moon from being visible, production is postponed until the next lunar cycle.
Before forging begins, the artisans prepare themselves physically and mentally. They gather together, offer traditional prayers, and begin their work with intention, focus, and respect.
This process reflects the values of the Shakya Kasa tradition, where craftsmanship is approached with care, mindfulness, and reverence.
